Spokesperson of the Ijaw Youth Counci, Eric Omare has stated that the Niger Delta Militants are not behind the attacks in Lagos, Punch reported.
This comes after he was being interviewed about the ongoing attacks that have taken place in Lagos and Ogun states.
Omare states that although the militants are expressing their grievances through attacking different regions but they should not be blamed for every attack that happens.
He further continues to state this matter should be treated like a criminal case and not put the blame on the militants.
The people attacking are stated to be using the same waterways the militants use.
