Unknown gunmen in Nigeria kidnapped three British workers and one Colombian on Tuesday in an attack on their convoy near the oil hub Port Harcourt, security sources told Reuters.
A Nigerian security officer was killed in the incident and no group has claimed responsibility.
“The four were expatriates from Netco contractors working at the Afam power plant,” one security source said.
A second source said the four were taken from their vehicles at around 7:30 a.m. (6:30 a.m. British time) on Tuesday
