Police Close Down Restaurant In Nigeria Serving Human Flesh

White truffles, black caviar, Alaskan King Salmon, and Wagyu beef – these are some of the expensive ingredients that make-up some of the most luxurious restaurant dishes on the planet.

But here’s one ingredient that won’t be appearing on any Michelin-Star restaurant any time soon – human flesh!

According to a report from the Daily Star, a hotel restaurant in Anambra, Nigeria has been shut down after it served human flesh to its diners and kept bleeding heads in its storeroom.

After receiving reports, police raided the premise, where they found human heads that were still bleeding being stored in plastic bags.

Among other things they found were an arsenal of weapons that include grenades and AK-47rifles.

“Every time I went to the market, I observed strange activities going on in the hotel,” one local resident told the BBC.

“People who were never cleanly dressed and who looked a bit strange made their way in and out of the hotel, making me very suspicious of their activities. I am not surprised at the shocking revelation,” he added.

Among the recent diners at the restaurant was a priest, who was shocked at the cost of the meal that he had just eaten.

To his dismay, he had unwittingly become a cannibal.

The holy man was presented with a bill of 700 Naira – roughly RM12.60 – which is about four times the daily wage in the country.

“The attendant noticed my reaction and told me it was the small piece of meat I had eaten that made the bill scale that high,” he said.

“I did not know I had been served with human meat, and that it was that expensive,” he recalled further.
