Photobombing turns Nigerian bread seller into a model

You might want to strike a pose if you ever see camera flashes in your direction, because your modeling career might be just around the corner. In the case of one young lady in Nigeria, a chance photobombing moment has changed her life.

Olajumoke Orisaguna, a 27-year-old bread seller and a mother of two, accidentally stumbled into TY Bello‘s photoshoot while she was shooting British singer and rapper Tinie Tempah.

“The moment didn’t look special at all. If anything she stood there a little confused…some people asking her to leave the set and others asking her to stay. I signaled if it was ok to take her photograph and she agreed and I pressed on my shutter so she could move ahead,” Bello said.

Orisaguna-cover-shot2-croppedAfter TY Bello received several queries about whether the young woman in the photo was a model or not, Bello decided to ask her Instagram followers to help her find Orisaguna.

Bello eventually found her by asking her assistant to leave messages to people around the area where the photo shoot took place.

Now Orisaguna has made it to the cover of “This Day Style” magazine, looking effortlessly stunning as if she’s been modeling for years.

One of Bello’s mentors has offered to foot the bill for Orisaguna’s children’s education. Only weeks ago, a normal day for her was selling bread and earning the equivalent of less than $1 a day.

For this young woman at least, life shows that the most amazing things can happen in the most unexpected ways, often when you least expect it.

We love a happy ending.  Don’t you?
