Kiwi engineer Jamahl Khan is among a group of mine workers kidnapped in Nigeria.The New Zealander now lives in Brisbane and works in Calabar in southern Nigeria.
Seven foreigners were kidnapped, two escaped and five are being held captive.
They include Australians Jack Couranz, Mark Gabbedy and Peter Zoutenbier and South African Wayne Smith.
