The governor said the state is also poised to change the attitude of residents of Lagos who compound traffic problems by driving against the traffic as it would continue the battle to change the attitude of the people towards the act.

He pledged to return the city to the status of the Lagos of old adding that one of the measures he has adopted is the decision to reconstruct 36 streets in the old Yaba area in the second phase of the renewal project.

The Governor added that Alimosho local Government which is the largest in the state would also benefit from the renewal project as many roads would be constructed in the area.

He also said contract has been awarded for the construction of the Okota link Road which would serve residents of Isolo, Ejigbo and Oke-Afa communities who have had to contend with traffic bottlenecks in the area on a daily basis.
