Police Arrest Suspected Killer of Lebanese

Adamawa Police Command said yesterday that suspected armed robbers who were allegedly involved in the murder of a Lebanese, Tony Suleiman Saade, an employee of A.G Vision Construction Limited, have been arrested.
Spokesperson of the Command, Ms Altine Daniel, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Yola that the suspects were arrested by a team of security operatives led by Mallam Ali Kwara’a.
Kwara’a is a civilian involved in helping the police to arrest suspected armed robbers.
Saade was killed on February 14, along Gombi-Yola Road, when the vehicle in which he and four others were traveling was ambushed by a gang of armed robbers.
Apart from Saade, another expatriate, Abdulsalam Anous, was injured in the head when driver of the Toyota Hilux Van conveying them attempted to escape.
Daniel confirmed that four magazines, bundles of wrappers, shoes and other items were recovered from the suspects.
The victims, according to her, lost $600, six GSM handsets and N45,000 to the robbers.
