Nigeria’s ex- President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo slumped yesterday afternoon while attending the 70th birthday party of Major General Olu Bajowa in Okitipupa Ondo State. The incident happened at St. Stephen Anglican Church.
According to high profile sources at the event, Obasanjo was revived some minutes and he came back to be part of the event. Guests at the ceremony included the goverbor of Onodo State, Mr. Olusegun Mimiko, Admiral Akin Aduwo Rtd, General Adeyinka Adebayo and others.
However, Obasanjo’s spokesman, Mr. Ojekunle Adeoba describe the story as a total fabrication of lies. He insisted that Obasanjo never slumped . He also said that people should not create unnecessary anxiety over the health of the former Nigerian leader known for his ‘I dey Kampe’ slogan.
