Four survivors have been found after a Nigerian military plane crashed on its way from the capital, Abuja, to the south-eastern Cross Rivers state.
Eighteen people were on board the plane but a military spokesman said that other people may also have survived the crash, whose causes are not yet clear.
Captain Emeka Ozomena told the BBC that the crash site had been located.
More than 200 people died in two air disasters last year, leading many to question the safety of Nigerian planes.
After the disasters, several airlines were grounded while safety checks were carried out.
