OOL sources inform us that a Lebanese national was kidnapped yesterday evening in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The incident occurred at 17:40hrs and the man was taken from a construction site on Mbadiwe Azikwe. The site is located right on the banks of the lagoon and is not far from the Lagoon Casino.
Gunmen snatched two men – both expatriate – in the raid but one managed to make his escape by jumping overboard from the boat used to make a getaway. Gunfire was reported but no injuries have been noted at this time.
