A security vessel, MV Peace Gate, reported to be in OML 123 Addax Antan field Oron waters, was attacked by a gang in two boats.
The captain of this vessel is said to have been killed in this incident. One other crew member has been listed as injured.
The incident was reported at approximately 03:00hrs, today, 5th February.
