Nigeria is heading for a coup: Buhari

Presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muhammadu Buhari has expressed concern over the future of the country, should elections be postponed again,Naij reports.

During an announcement on Saturday, the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) revealed that polls will be shifted to March 28 and April 11, causing many to express dissatisfaction at the decision.

Despite these claims, National Security Advisor Sambo Dasuki has assured citizens that the elections will not be postponed again and that they will be conducted in a free and fair manner.

Commenting on the poll shift, Buhari has been reported as saying that a further postponement of the polls could result in “a civilian and military coup.”
