Currently, Mr. Dein represents the constituency 111, in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, which consist of ward 11 and ward 12. We would like to give some detail political history of the constituency since 1999 that has resulted in current peace in sharing of political offices and elective offices.
Chairman sir, since 1999 to date, our people in their resolve to curtail political violence and lawlessness, decided that all elective and appointive position meant for our area be share on rotational basis. In 1999 based on this rotational agreement , Mr. B.Z.I. Onniyo from ward 12 was elected to represent the constituency in the state House of Assembly. In 2003, Mr. Benadomein Dein was elected from ward 11 as it was their turn to do so by the rotational agreement.
We would not have bother to disturb you with what ordinarily should have been our internal affairs in constituency 111 of Bayelsa State but we want to place it on record that what should be our political right is been forcefully taking from us by some smart elements and we promise to defend our rights through all means possible. Our case is for peace and respect for rotational agreement.
