Alleged sex scandal: Gbenga Obasanjo vows to expose more

THE recent leakage of an affidavit submitted in the lingering divorce litigation between son of former Nigerian President, Dr. Gbenga Obasanjo and his enstranged wife, Mrs. Mojisola Obasanjo, (nee Onabanjo) may soon snowball into startling revelations on how several powerful and rich individuals have been using incest as a form of ritual to get rich.

Mojisola is also seeking a monthly payment of N300,000 for the period of 15 years till the children attain adulthood. A source close to the Obasanjo Family disclosed to pointblanknews.com (an online news outlet) earlier in the week that Dr. Obasanjo was spotted at a meeting with a prominent traditional ruler in the South West, where he expressed his disappointment, sorrow and personal grief on the conduct of ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo and his father-in-law, Chief Alex Onabanjo.

The source, who preferred to be anonymous in order not to be seen as giving out sensitive family secrets of the Obasanjo family said that the meeting between Gbenga and the Oba afforded the embattled first son of Obasanjo to lay his grouse against Obasanjo and father-in-law, Chief Alex Onabanjo, who was also accused of having had carnal knowledge of his daughter, Mojisola.

The source said that Gbenga who has now drawn a battle line, vowed to the traditional ruler that Nigerians are in for more horrific shockers on a non-specific deal between Obasanjo and his famous first daughter, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello and some of the female Ministers and Special Advisers during his regime as President of Nigeria.

The source further said that Gbenga was extremely upset. Gbenga Obasanjo had last week accused his father, Nigerias ex-president of sleeping with his wife, Mojisola and had equally asked a Lagos High court to dissolve the seven-year old marriage because of the cloud hovering round the paternity of his kids.

The revelation was contained in a sworn affidavit deposed to by the first son of the former Nigerian leader, which was in response to the one earlier deposited by the defendant, Mojisola Obasanjo (nee Onabanjo).

Gbengas wife, Mojisola in the suit had accused him of sundry sins including assault and battering. The 50 paragraph affidavit was averred to on behalf of Gbenga by his solicitor, Ehmaku Addeh Associates.

The petitioner averred in paragraph 13 and 14 of the affidavit that while married to him was also committing adultery with one Mr. Olumide Ogunlesi and that the respondent shamelessly carried on her sexual escapades without any thought as to the psychological effect of same on him.

Paragraph 15 of the sworn affidavit states: The petitioner averred that it is now necessary for a court ordered DNA test to be carried out on himself, Otunba Alex Onabanjo and General Olusegun Obasanjo by a competent independent medical laboratory chosen by the court, in order to ascertain the actual paternity of the children of the marriage as the continued uncertainty about their actual paternity is making life a mystery.
