The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, or MEND, said Saturday it attacked and blew up another oil well owned by Chevron in Nigeria’s southern Delta state.
Jomo Gbomo, a MEND spokesman, said in a statement that the Makaraba oil well 3 and 5 and its trunk line and gas lifts were attacked and blown up in the early hours of Saturday.
The militant organization had said on Friday it attacked and destroyed the Otunana oil well 1 and its gas lift trunk lines belonging to the company
