(Reuters) – Nigerian militant group MEND said in an email to media on Saturday that it planted explosives in two cars in locations of strategic importance in the Niger Delta and would detonate them shortly. Two car bombings by the same group at oil company compounds in the delta’s largest city of Port Harcourt on Monday prompted two European oil companies to evacuate hundreds of dependants of staff from the region. |
