We love this place. It's the best in town to buy fresh meats. We've even included the latest price list, (dated March 06,) so you can try it for yourselves.
The company is called OJEMAIE FOODS LTD but you may have also heard it called 'The English Butcher'. Nigerian owned and Expat run - we reckon it the best butcher in town.
They are based in Port Harcourt and produce a wide range of sausage, bacon, cooked meats and various other pork, beef and turkey products. Chief Oyibo particularly likes their Cumberland Sausages and the Smoked Hams. The pork is definately the best and the freshest we've found anywhere.
They have their own farm in Benin City using imported breeding stock from the UK and Holland and all production is done to a European standard.
They are nafdac registered and all products are regularly tested at Prodec Fugro laboratory right here in Port Harcourt.
All ingredients, packaging etc. are imported from the UK.
