Relaively new and custom built. The Bougainvillea will give the other hotels in it’s class a run for it’s money.
The staff a friendly and welcoming and the marbled reception gives this place an air of grandeur.
The rooms range in price from 16,500 for a standard room right up to 68,000 for the Royal suite.
Trust us when we say it’s worth spending the money on the suite for the bathroom alone. It’s almost a religious experience with Jacuzzi tub, marble walls and a really nifty glass and chrome sink thingy that impressed the hell out of us. The suite also has a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool.
The room rates also include, what we’ve been told, is a pretty good breakfast buffet.
We did have lunch there and the menu was varied and well priced. The Oyibo Chef even came out of his kitchen to give us his personal recommendations. The Grilled Chicken Salad was excellent right down to the shaved parmesan.
This place also boasts two good sized conference rooms.
The whole hotel is tastefully decorated and a bit of calm in an otherwise stressful city. Definitely worth a visit.
