Chico Oyibo found and reviewed this place for us, here's what he had to say...
This place serves strictly Nigerian cuisine and a fellow Oyibo introduced me to it after he was taken there by his Nigerian colleagues. I've been twice now to have the BBQ'd fish. Both times we've popped in at lunchtime in order to let them know that we're coming in the evening for the 'Big Fish' allowing them to pop down to the market and get them.
It's important to have the big fish as the bones are bigger and much easier to pull out whole than on the small fish.
They BBQ the fish and they do BBQ'd plantains for you as well, the fish is served with a VERY HOT SPICY sauce. The fish is fantastic if you don't mind heads & scales etc. I recommend eating very little of the spicy sauce which is hotter than a Thaal curry with similar effects, so not for the faint hearted.
The staff are friendly and genuinely pleased / shocked to see Oyibo as it's quite obviously quite a Nigerian haunt, and that means that there are no barfly girls there, if that's what you are trying to avoid.
