The modern-day Ikoyi Club 1938 is a story of success. It is a member only club situated at ikoyi and occupies an enviable area of approximately 456 acres of land and provides the first class facilities for about 10,000 members.
The entire complex of Ikoyi Club 1938 could be broadly classified into five areas:
- Club House facilities
- Sporting facilitiesCatering facilities
- Entertainment activities and
- Recreational grounds
The Club House Facilities comprise a large symmetrical hall called Rotunda, an expansive lounge that house a medium sized dancing floor and a roomy bar named the main bar, a well equipped snacks Kitchen with its internal conveniences like bathrooms, toilets, changing room and a kitchen administrative office occupied by the chief . In addition to these components of the club house are the snooker/Billiard room, card Bar, TV room, a franchised restaurant and offices for the managers and sporting staff of the Club.
On the first floor of the club House is located the main committee room, which could be described as the HEART of the club, where decisions that sharpen the future of the club are made. This floor also has the club's library, made Accounts department and the General Manager's office.
Sporting facilities are made up of the following sporting sections: Badminton, Golf, Lawn Tennis, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Snooker/Billiards.
