Here is what Grasscutter had to say about the Golf Course on Bonny Island
"Well the course was named by the Guardian news Paper as the jewel in the Crown in 2005 after the shareholders Tournament.
It must be the only Golf Course in the world were you can attend church on a Sunday while you play as the Preacher can be heard from Agalanga village on the Finima road especially at hole number 2.
It's a Nine hole course with a Par of 36 with Two Par 5's and Two Par 3's this doubles up to make a Par of 72 when you play 18 holes as number 17 becomes a par 5 and the 18th becomes a par 4 .
There is a Bush hut at hole seven known as Bob the builders watering hole but not much water is drunk there. There is also a brick bar been opened shortly at hole 4 so there is no excuse for dehydration due to lack of Heineken."
The course construction started in1998 and it was opened in December 1999. It has many water features and at one time in the swamp there was even a Hippo at the driving range side. There were two crocodile's on the course at one stage but all have been used for Chop Chop.
There are many other types of wild life. Lovely birds of the Feathered variety; Kingfishers, Buzzer's cattle egret & Ducks there are plenty snakes Cobra, Python and Green and Black mamba.

"The club house has a very well stocked Bar and they make the best pizza's on the Island along with a Pool table and dart board.
There is also a game of French bowls going in as I type this."
